Edith Mariscal Valdivia
SteezFromTheBay came to life in 2018 with the simple goal of capturing steezy individuals from the Bay. As I met more people with incredible style and inspiring lives, I no longer felt alone—I found a community. That’s when I created @steezfromthebay, a space to showcase us. Through this journey, I discovered my passion for photography, styling, and creative direction. I’ve styled friends, family, and even some of the people I photograph. In 2019, I directed a highly successful all-inclusive fashion show—check out the blog post titled “First Fashion Show” for a behind-the-scenes look and a recap of the event.
Now, in 2024, I’ve taken my craft as a photographer seriously, offering my unique style to clients who want their portraits captured for various reasons and events. While I continue to expand my work professionally, my mission remains the same—I will always highlight members of the community with distinct style and big dreams, showcasing them on social media and through my blog. Everything is connected—fashion, photography, storytelling, and the culture we create together.
